Asbury's vegetable garden mission of providing fresh produce to those in need enters its 11th year. The focus is to provide different crops than those available in large quantities through the various food bank distribution centers. Variety in 2021 included Swiss chard, yellow banana peppers, okra, green tomatoes, jalapeno peppers and green onions. With God and His blessings the garden continues to fulfill a need in the community Asbury serves. Volunteers are always needed to keep this important mission ongoing.
